Can I subscribe for just one month?

All our packages are for one full year. We show the monthly price breakdown to give you a better idea of the value of the product, compared with other similar business tools such as Office 365 that are billed monthly. Paying an annual fee is the only option available because Business in a Box is a package that is meant to help business owners and managers all throughout their business journey.

Is it easy to get started?

Can I get a refund if I don't want Business in a Box anymore?

We offer a free trial that allows you to preview the available documents so you can make an informed purchase decision. Once a subscription is activated, refunds are not available. We encourage you to make full use of the trial to ensure the product meets your needs before committing.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your account whenever you like. To do so, log into your Business in a Box account, click on your profile avatar in the top right corner, select “My Account”, and under the “Organization Details” section, click “Close Organization Account.” This will immediately close your account and deactivate all associated data and services.

Are there penalties for cancelling?

No, there are no penalties for cancelling your Business in a Box subscription. You can cancel at any time without incurring additional fees or charges. Once cancelled, your subscription will not be renewed at the next billing cycle. However, it's important to note that access to the platform and its features will end when your subscription expires.

Is this online or do I need to download a software?

Business in a Box is an online service. You can sign in to Business in a Box from your browser or download the Windows or Mac app to run it from your computer. You can also download our app for your smartphone and tablet.

Can I upgrade between plans?

Absolutely! You can upgrade plans at any time. If you change plans in the middle of a billing cycle, then you will only pay the difference to switch plans from the date that you switch plans till the end of your next billing cycle.

I purchased a subscription a few months back, but my Web App account is a Free Trial. What is happening?

The first thing to do is to make sure you're using the right email address for your account. Your paid account is linked to the email address with which you made the purchase. If you can’t remember the email you used for your purchase, please contact us at support@business-in-a-box.com .

I push on the Download button and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

When you click on the Download button, a copy of the template you requested in Word or Excel format will be downloaded in your Downloads folder. Various browsers react differently: If you are using Google Chrome, you should see the document in the lower left corner of your screen. On Firefox, you will be prompted to save, then you need to click on the downward arrow in the top right corner to open the document. On Edge or Internet Explorer, a yellow bar at the bottom will prompt you to save and open.

If you cannot find the template in your Downloads folder, please log out of the application, close the browser window and reopen a new one, then log in again. Try to download the document. If you still don’t see the document in your Downloads folder, please contact us at support@business-in-a-box.com with the following information:

  • Email address of the Web App account
  • Type of browser that you are using (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc)
  • Name of the document that you are trying to download
I need the documents in a different language than English. What can I do?

The Web App interface is only available in English and French for now, but you can still access all 7 language libraries and all the templates they contain. Simply put your mouse over the “Language library” control in the lower left corner of the screen, then select the language that you need. Note that you need to have purchased a Premium license to have access to all language libraries.

How much free storage space does Drive offer?

Drive offers 1 GB of free storage space, and users can increase storage capacity by subscribing to a paid plan.

How can I upgrade my Drive plan to benefit from more storage space?

You can upgrade your current plan to a level that suits your needs by following these steps : 1-log in to your account, 2-go to account settings (small dot at top right), 3-select billing, 4-choose the plan that suits your needs.

There are different subscription plans for individuals and teams.

What is my storage capacity with Drive?

Storage capacity depends on your subscription type. If you're on a free trial, your limit is 1GB. If you have a paid plan, your capacity is 20GB per paid user in your account. However, that drive space is shared by all the users. For example, if you have 5 users, your account capacity is 100GB. One team member could use only 5GB while another could use 35GB.

Is my data secure on the drive?

We use encryption and other security measures to protect your data. We strongly recommend that you use a strong, unique password to access your account and data.

Can I access Drive from different types of device?

Yes, Drive can be accessed from a variety of devices, including computers, smartphones and tablets. There are also dedicated applications for different operating systems (Mac,ios,Windows).

How do I recover files deleted in Drive?

Drive stores deleted files for a certain period of time. You can recover deleted files by logging into your account on the BIB website or App and accessing the " trash " section. To restore a file, click on it, then right-click and choose Recover.

How can I share files and folders with other people on Drive?

Yes, Drive lets you collaborate on documents. Several different users can work simultaneously on the same file, and changes are synchronized in real time.

Can I collaborate with others on documents in Drive?

Yes, Business-in-a-Box has mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, so you can access and manage your files on the move.

How do I sign up for Business in a Box?

You can sign up for Business in a Box by visiting the official website (https://www.business-in-a-box.com/) and clicking on the "Get Started" button. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.

How do I join a Connect meeting?

To join a Connect meeting, you can click on the meeting link provided by the host or enter the meeting ID manually on the Business in a Box app or website.

How do I create a Connect meeting?

There are two ways of using Connect, either by calling another user directly or by creating a meeting.

  1. To call another user directly, make sure you're logged in to your Business in a Box account. Click on "Connect" (a new window will open), then click on "Start a new meeting". Give your meeting a name. You can then share the meeting address with other participants.
  2. To create a meeting with a link to share, connect to your Business in a Box account, click on "Connect"; a new window will open. Then click on "Create a meeting link". Give your meeting a name.

You can then share the meeting invitation with participants by clicking on "Create and copy".

How can I share my screen during a video call?

Click on the "Share screen" button in the meeting controls, found in the rectangle at the bottom, once you've started your call. You can choose to share your entire screen, or specific applications or documents.

Is Connect secure?

Business-in-a-Box has implemented various security features, including password protection, waiting rooms, and end-to-end encryption for video calls. It's essential to keep your Connect app updated to benefit from the latest security enhancements.

Do I need a webcam to take part in a Connect meeting ?

Although you don't need a webcam to take part in a Connect meeting , if you don't have one, you won't be able to transmit a video signal on your own. You'll still be able to listen and talk during the meeting, share your screen and view the webcam video of other participants.
